Hide Software Update Red Bubble Icon on Mac

defaults write com.apple.systempreferences AttentionPrefBundleIDs 0 ; killall Dock;

The red bubble icon on system preferences is really annoying.

The code above help me to solve that by swap the red bubble icon, while still maintaining the automatic update.

The red bubble will appear again after the system doing automatic update check.

But don’t worry, just type the command above on the terminal, and the red bubble will disappear.

Or… if I’m ready for the update, I will just update the software and the red bubble will gone (until the next update).
